Customer memo – safe and responsible use of LPG
UAB DUJALVA strives to ensure maximum safety and efficiency, so we have prepared a detailed customer guide to help you use liquefied petroleum gas properly and take care of your equipment.
Keep gas cylinders upright and protected from direct sunlight and rain.
Ensure that cylinders are stored in well-ventilated areas, away from heat sources and open flames.
It is prohibited to store cylinders in basements, garages, or other poorly ventilated areas.
Before connecting the cylinder, make sure that the valve is closed.
Only use certified and tested equipment (reducers, hoses, valves).
When connecting the cylinder, check that all connections are tight.
It is prohibited to use cylinders if you notice gas leaks or mechanical damage.
Regularly check the gas connections with a soap solution – if there are bubbles, there is a leak.
Check the condition of the reducer and the integrity of the hoses every 6 months.
We recommend performing a technical inspection at least once a year.
When transporting a gas cylinder, it must be securely fastened in an upright position.
Avoid strong impacts and friction with other surfaces.
It is prohibited to transport cylinders in closed vehicles without adequate ventilation.
Make sure that the cylinder is completely closed and empty of gas.
Return it upright, with the valve protected and securely fastened during transport.
Please inform our staff of any visible damage or comments regarding the cylinder.
If you notice a gas leak, immediately turn off the valve and open the windows to ventilate the room.
Avoid using electrical appliances or telephones at the site of the leak.
Leave the room and call the emergency services.
Check the expiration date of the cylinder before use.
Never use a cylinder if you notice any mechanical damage.
Before each use, make sure that all valves are properly closed.
Keep out of reach of children.
